The global goals lead the way
The global goals are all connected, but we have identified six that are extra relevant to us.
These are goals 4, 8, 12, 13, 15 and 17.

As a knowledge-based company our mission is to increase knowledge in the hospitality industry, other public actors and students. Our efforts are about inspiring the development of sustainable products and services and making Skåne sustainable and accessible.
We work for an inclusive and long-term sustainable economic growth. The development of small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas contributes to job creation, economic growth and more vibrant communities.
We focus on testing and developing methods for sustainable tourism that promote local culture and local products. Other focus areas are reducing waste, food waste and disposable packaging at event companies. By developing new methods we can give companies tools to contribute to sustainable consumption and production.
Climate change linked to tourism is largely linked to travel. We have decided to invest in local markets where people can travel over land. In partnership with the City of Malmö we will implement initiatives with train companies and tour operators to focus on the Fehmarn-Belt area.
Regenerative tourism is based on the idea that visitors can help preserve nature and culture in a place and leave it in a better condition than it was before. Through our efforts we can play a significant role in promoting biodiversity and natural habitats.
An attractive destination is characterized by good hosting and hospitality. It is based on strong partnerships and joint efforts to solve societal challenges. We build the Skåne brand, create attractive and accessible products and drive innovation work.
